GA Telesis Engine Services’ U.S. SPAH Facility Receives AFRA Disassembly Best Management Practices Certificate

September 24, 2024 – Fort Lauderdale, Florida – GA Telesis, LLC (GAT), a global aviation services integrator, and Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATSG), a leading provider of aircraft leasing and air cargo transportation and related services, announced that the Specialized Procedures Aeroengine Hospital (SPAH), a joint venture at the Wilmington Air Park in southwestern Ohio, has received its certificate for Engine Disassembly Best Management Practices by the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (“AFRA”).

 

The AFRA implementation took place over a span of six months with the final audits being conducted at the GAT/ATSG facility in Wilmington, OH. As a result of this certification, the Wilmington SPAH has greatly improved its environmentally sensitive operations by reducing the adverse impact our activities, processes, products, and services have on the environment using a methodical approach.
