Ft. Lauderdale, FL – GA Telesis announced that it has acquired two (2) Boeing 767-300 aircraft from Japan Airlines (JAL). The aircraft were recently removed from service where they operated on both domestic and international routes by JAL. The 767-300s will enter the GA Telesis disassembly production line in Florida, and the disassembly and remarketing will be led by the GA Telesis Aircraft Systems Group (ASG) and Turbine Engine Group (TEG), respectively.
“We are very pleased to conclude the agreement to acquire these aircraft,” said Russell Bonnell, Senior Vice President of Global Sales. “These are the first-ever 767-300s aircraft to be disassembled and just another example of our continued commitment to provide our airline customers with newer generation inventory at significant cost savings,” he added.
